Pretties...
I don't know why but making every day items around my kitchen pretty has become a small obsession lately.
I don't know why but making every day items around my kitchen pretty has become a small obsession lately.
Here is an example:
These are clothespins that I use for chip clips and a million other little tasks.
I made them pretty just using some scrap paper and Elmer's glue, and a dash of glitter of course.
Here is how:
1. I measured out one stencil piece of paper using the clothespin as a guide.
2. Then I cut out all different scrap papers using the stencil as a guide.
3. I used Elmer's and a paint brush to adhere the paper to the clothespins and then to put a clear coat of Elmer's on top of each piece of paper.
4. I did exactly the same thing for the glitter. Use plenty of glue to seal in the glitter...it will dry clear.
5. Let them dry and then use them everywhere...they will add some happy to your everyday chores.
(You could also hot glue a strong magnet to the back and use them on your fridge to hold school art projects, invites, or reminders.)
